Table technical terms
Case
The information specified in a single row (other than the header row).
Entry
The contents of a cell.
Grid
An arrangement of hashed vertical and horizontal lines that appears as the background to every tables window. The grid divides the background area into small rectangular locations known as cells.
Header row
The top row of a table. The entries in this row identify the factor or attribute names, except for the rightmost entry which identifies the decision or classification name.
Wildcard
An asterisk used to specify a 'wildcard' or 'don't care' value for an attribute.
