The rule editor

As an alternative to entering rules by typing directly into a rule window, you can select the rule editor from the Build menu. It provides a template for the syntax appropriate to the window. 

For example, if the front window is a Forward rules window then the editor looks like this:

The rule editor is especially useful to novices since it makes it easy to get the syntax right.
