Picture file formats
All versions of InterModeller can handle these file formats:
*.jpg (JPEG format), *.gif (GIF format), *.xbm (X11 bitmap), *.xpm (X11 pixmap), *.pnm (Portable Any Map)
In addition, these formats are recognised by the Windows version of InterModeller:
*.bmp (Windows bitmap), *.ico (Windows icon)
The recommended format is JPEG, i.e. picture files that have the .jpg (in lower case) extension. This is the format to which InterModeller converts all images internally.
